Virginia Beach Theological Seminary

Founded in the summer of 1996, Virginia Beach Theological Seminary sets it mission to equip each student for local church ministry and mission work worldwide. They achieve this goal through biblical academic training in a ministry-based environment. They summarize their mission in the phrase, “Sharpening Servants for Global Ministry.”

The school offers several fields of study, including Master of Divinity, Master of Biblical Studies, Doctor of Ministry and Master of Theology. Prospective students are allowed to visit a class and determine if the environment is right for them.

There are five primary core values at Virginia Beach Theological Seminary. These include church context, mentorship culture, language emphasis, grace philosophy, and serious academics. These five values work in tandem to help students achieve success in their future ministry.

When students near graduation, the school works to find appropriate ministry opportunities where the graduates will be needed. They prepare them for the interviews and sermons and send them out into the world, prepared to make it a better place.
