Shepherds College, located in Union Grove, Wisconsin, is the only accredited university in the university that is specifically designed with the needs and successes of students with intellectual disabilities in mind.
Their mission is “to educate and train students with intellectual and developmental disabilities by equipping them to reach Appropriate Independence™ through the development of vocational, social, and life skills while inspiring a lasting awareness of God’s plan for their lives”.
Shepherds College is a nondenominational institution that seeks to help students in every aspect of their lives, so that they are best prepared to tackle their choice of career head-on once they graduate.
With a three-year degree plan in most fields of study, Shepherds College provides an accelerated learning pace that helps students achieve the education that they need in a quick, timely manner.
The school offers occupational programs in culinary arts, horticultural studies, and technology, while educating students to prepare them for independent living.
