The Roxborough Memorial Hospital School of Nursing has a long and proud history of educating health care professionals that dates back to the 1890s. It even graduated its first class of five women in 1901, showing that it has a long and storied history. The school has seen over 2,000 graduates since this time and many of them hold highly sought-after positions in the medical field.
Their hospital-based programs come with two different types of course offerings. One is a full-time option over 16 months, as well as a 22-month part time option for those who need to continue working another job.
Roxborough Memorial Hospital’s nursing program prides itself on its ability to prepare its student for careers in nursing. Over 98% of graduates passed the National Council of Licensing Examination for RNs on their first attempt.
The school also partners with Penn State University to allow students to duel enroll and earn a BS in nursing in as little as six months after graduating from Roxborough’s program.
