The Lubbock Hair Academy is situated in Lubbock, Texas and was founded in 1955 by L.J Blaylock. Its original name was Lubbock Barber College. In 1994, the name changed to its current one.
The Lubbock Hair Academy has been in the same location since 1955. The building contains offices, classrooms, and clinical floor areas. Each clinical floor area is outfitted with special stations designed for student barbers.
The school’s mission is “to educate and train students for entry into the hair/nail industry”. It receives licensing from the Texas Department of License and Registration.
The school also works to help students find employment after graduation. Through its performance-based training, Lubbock Hair Academy aims to lead a new generation of successful professionals in the hair and nail industry.
