Alamo City Barber College was founded in 2009 under the guidance of Hondree Nance. Nance is now co-owner of the school. He noticed that San Antonio, Texas, desperately needed barbers.
At first, local investors weren’t sure if Nance could successfully spearhead the school’s operation. He has since proved doubters wrong.
Now, Alamo City Barber College (ACBC) has added an additional instructor and enjoys enrollment as high as 70 students per course.
ACBC’s mission is “to equip all students with the necessary barbering skills to become productive and self-sufficient barbers, barber technicians and/or barber instructors in San Antonio”.
ACBC has a total of 52 Student Barber stations at its campus. In addition to that, there are four Student Manicure stations and two Student Pedicure Stations.
