The Meridian Institute of Surgical Assisting is located in Nashville, Tennessee. It was founded in 1999. It is one of the leading providers in the country of surgical assisting training and education.
At Meridian, students can enroll in the SFA Online program, which is the largest online Surgical First Assistant program in America.
Students also have the option of taking classes towards achieving an Associate’s degree in the Surgical Assisting Program.
These programs are accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Programs. The accreditation was awarded based on the recommendation of the Subcommittee on Accreditation for Surgical Assistants.
