The Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology (WSPP) is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is a non-profit institute of higher learning that offers doctoral degrees in clinical psychology since 1978.
It was originally founded because clinical psychologists in the state felt that they weren’t enough institutions to train clinical psychologists. The original faculty of the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology were all practicing psychologists.
The school earned its accreditation in 1987 from the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. It also earned accreditation from the American Psychological Association.
Students also attend WSPP from out-of-state.
The Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology “strives to provide excellence in graduate psychological scholarship, clinical training, and community service”. It is well-regarded for its personal focus on students.
