With its campus in Soldotna, Alaska, the Alaska Christian College is perfectly located to carry out its vision: “to be the premiere college of choice for Alaska Native students so that our graduates follow and serve Christ within the Church and larger society”.
The Alaska Christian College aims to empower Alaska Natives to follow their calling to ministry both in the Alaska region and throughout the greater national community. The small class sizes and fully-invested teaching staff combine to create a learning environment that educates the whole student in both spiritual and academic pursuits.
Some of the programs offered at Alaska Christian Colleges include an Associate in Arts degree with focuses in Behavioral Health, Christian Ministries, Paraprofessional Education, and General Studies. Within those focuses, students can either complete their core curriculum classes to advance to other universities or else use the training they have received to excel in the community in which they have been planted.
