Located in the United States Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Northern Marianas College was founded in 1976 and has three campuses on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota. It is the only accredited public college on the Northern Mariana Islands, and offers specialized degree plans in a wide variety of career fields.
NMC’s mission is to provide “high quality affordable and accessible educational programs and services for the individual and people of the Commonwealth”, while its vision is to see NMC “serve as the engine to drive the economic growth and the social and cultural vitality of the Commonwealth”.
Everything about NMC is highly visible and transparent, and students are guaranteed a quality education in fields like criminal justice, a four-year business program, and languages and humanities. NMC also provides post-secondary and adult education as part of its mission to drive the Commonwealth onwards to greater prominence and growth on both the national and international stage alike.
